SG 130909

Do you ever find it corny when you watch those shows on Discovery channel and National Geographic where the 'dude' will go out on a mission to look for the biggest snake and then he doesn't find it till the very last day? ( or the 40th minute of a 45 minute long show). Well, I do.

Over the weekend I searched a dozen record stores across Singapore city and could not find IT. Anyway, I managed to find it 3 hours before my flight back. So, yea maybe that kinda stuff really does happen on TV.

Then again... no i'll take that back.
I still think that the producers are trying to pull a fast one.

Thoughts - Architecture

I do not see a reason to why one has to justify ones self for every idea design or concept. Not everything has to be bound to a significant meaning. If it is both beautiful and functional then let it be. Don't ask where have you seen this being done or even what inspired you, expecting a logical and predictable explaination. Why is it that one cannot simply pull out ideas which lack "fundementals" from the air? Being in this line of study/profession, I would say that it's stupid to not do so. Infact, being an artist one should be cursed to constantly have unexplainable ideas popping out of ones imagination for no good reason.

Jamiroquai live @ Sepang F1 After Race Party

When I heard that the space cowboys were heading to this corner of the earth I kinda had mixed feelings about it. On one hand it was a dream come true, being able to watch my favourite band live in action, and on the other having to share it with a bunch of race car junkies that have never heard of Jamiroquai. Also, I always thought that I would watch my first Jamiroquai concert in like... Sweden or Norway. That and the much talked about 3 hour crawl to the Sepang circuit was quite alot to think about. I would have made up my mind sooner if they were to have performed in Singapore.

ANYWAYS, i ended up going(DUH!) with my dad, so the 2hour crawl wasn't too bad. And there were other REAL Jamiroquai fans, ones that caught them on their Dynamite tour in Australia back in 2005. Awesome. People that listen to Jamiroquai are awesome. Except for the MOS remixed bullshit versions which do not count. Why would someone want to spoil a good thing?

Back to the concert. Their set list (not in order):

High Times
Alright
Seven Days In Sunny June
Space Cowboy
Black Capricorn Day
Use the Force
Little L
Cosmic Girl
Virtual Insanity
Travelling Without Moving
Canned Heat

There were 3 opening acts, an Indonesian band* (I didn't get the band's na

Some rando
m dude shouted: "Play Love Foolosophy and i'll die a happy man!"-agreed
When they actually played Love Foolosophy, if I had hair on the back of
my neck it would have stood up.
Aweso

I'm still partially on cloud 9.
